New Arrivals: CE Power Nine, LOTR Promos & Revised Duals

This week’s New Arrivals are led by a trio of Lord of the Rings collector highlights, backed by a deep mix of Old School Magic, Collector’s Edition Power, white-bordered Dual Lands, Premodern staples, high-end foils, Pokémon slabs, and sealed products. It’s a very Magic-heavy update with plenty of early-set history, premium treatments, and collector pieces worth a closer look.

As always, you can find all new cards in our New Arrivals Collection!

Lord of the Rings Headliners

The biggest highlights this week come straight from Middle-earth. Sauron, the Dark Lord from DCI Promos, is the clear centerpiece, joined by Gandalf the White and The One Ring from The Lord of the Rings: Tales of Middle-earth Holiday Release.

Together, these three cards give the update a very strong Lord of the Rings collector focus. Sauron and Gandalf bring major character appeal, while The One Ring remains one of the most recognizable modern Magic cards of the last few years. If you collect premium Middle-earth pieces, this is definitely the first section to check.

Arabian Nights and Legends

Now it’s time for the Magic: The Gathering cards you’ve been waiting for! Arabian Nights brings a strong Old School lineup this week, led by Bazaar of Baghdad, Shahrazad, Ali from Cairo, and Drop of Honey. These are exactly the kind of cards that make early Magic feel strange, powerful, and full of history.

Legends adds more vintage weight with The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale, along with several other classic pieces from the set. Between Arabian Nights and Legends, this section has a very strong early-Magic identity and plenty for Old School collectors to browse.

Collectors’ Edition Power Nine

Collector’s Edition gets a massive update this week with the Power Nine lineup represented, including Black Lotus, Ancestral Recall, Time Walk, Timetwister and Mox Sapphire as major highlights. Collector’s Edition cards have a very special place for players and collectors who love the look and feel of early Magic without chasing tournament-legal Alpha, Beta or Unlimited copies.

The Dual Lands from Collector’s Edition are also part of the update, with the classic cycle represented as well. For anyone who enjoys complete early-Magic collector pieces, this section is one of the most exciting parts of the week.

White-Bordered Duals

We always have new Dual Lands coming in, and this week’s white-bordered section brings two different flavors: Foreign White Bordered and Revised. The Foreign White Bordered highlights include Volcanic Island, Tundra, Bayou, Savannah and Scrubland.

Revised Dual Lands are listed separately in the shop and bring another strong spread for players and collectors. This section is especially useful if you are looking for classic mana in different border styles, conditions and price ranges without mixing the two categories together.

All new Duals are ready for display; check them out in our New Arrivals Collection!

Premodern and Legacy Staples

Premodern and Legacy get a very strong update with the kind of cards that never really leave people’s want lists. Mox Diamond, Lion’s Eye Diamond, City of Traitors, Survival of the Fittest and Intuition are the big names leading the section.

That is a great mix of fast mana, combo tools, powerful lands, and iconic late-90s staples. Whether you are tuning a Premodern deck, building Legacy shells, or collecting Reserved List classics, this section has a lot of familiar heavy hitters.

Foils, Foils, Foils

The foil section is packed with high-end Magic highlights, led by several Kaladesh Inventions including Sol Ring, Mana Vault, Lotus Petal and Chrome Mox. These premium artifact treatments remain some of the most recognizable Masterpiece cards ever printed and give the section a very strong top end.

Beyond the Inventions, Mox Diamond from From the Vault: Relics is another major highlight. There is plenty more depth throughout the foil section as well, with premium cards from Secret Lair, FINAL FANTASY, The Hobbit, The Lord of the Rings and Zendikar Expeditions. If you like shiny Magic with special frames, crossover treatments and premium versions of iconic staples, this is one of the strongest sections of the update.

Be sure to check out all our newest High-End Foils through the New Arrivals Collection!

Pokémon

Pokémon collectors get a clean slab-focused update this week. One of the main highlights is a matching trio consisting of Charizard, Charmeleon and Charmander from the PokéKyun Collection. These three slabs are only sold together as a set, as their grading certification numbers are continuous, making them an especially nice matching display piece.

The section also includes Gyarados and Jolteon, adding a few more classic Pokémon favorites to the mix. It’s not a huge Pokémon update, but between the PokéKyun trio and the additional graded cards, there is plenty of collector appeal.

Sealed Products

Sealed collectors get several different highlights this week, starting with Secret Lair Commander Deck: From Cute to Brute and Secret Lair Drop Series: Secretversary 2021: Heads I Win, Tails You Lose. Both are fun sealed Magic products with very different appeal.

Lorcana also joins the sealed section with The First Chapter Booster Box, giving Disney collectors a nice sealed display highlight. With Secret Lair decks and Lorcana boxes in the same update, this section has a good mix of Magic and non-Magic sealed products to browse.

Everything is live now! Grab your favorites before they disappear into someone else’s collection.
