New Arrivals: Artist Proof Shivan, Unlimited Power, Beta Duals, Foils

Highlights of the Week: Artist Proof Shivan Dragon

We have over 450 new cards for you this week, so let’s not waste any time with small talk or pleasantries and jump right in: The Highlight of the Week is not a Power Piece, it’s not a unique serialized card, it’s not Chocobo, no! It’s a one-of-a-kind Artist Proof Shivan Dragon in Near Mint condition! Can’t remember when the last time was, we had an artist proof in our Highlights, but we here we are! Just an awesome collector piece and piece of Magic’s history!

Shivan Dragon Artist Proof

Power, Power, Power

Next up, we need to talk about the Power Nine. Yes, of course, they will get their own category even if they are not the Highlight of the Week. Here we got five Unlimited Power cards for you including a Played and Signed Timetwister, two Mox Ruby (PL), a Mox Emerald (PSA 6) and a Mox Sapphire (PSA 9).

MTG Power Nine

To add a little cherry on top of this: A Collectors’ Edition Black Lotus in Light Played condition. Perfect to be played until its Played condition!

ABU Before ABBA

We actually got quite a lot of new Alpha, Beta and Unlimited cards (besides the previously mentioned P9). So let’s go through the highlights of each one of the ABUs together.

Alpha Magic Cards

Alpha got a lot of cool singles to show for, but the coolest and most playable ones are Serra Angel, Demonic Tutor and Swords to Plowshares. They are all in Good condition and the Swords are even Signed!

Beta is where things get a little bit crazier. The highlights here are BETA DUAL LANDS. It’s only two of them, but they are a Near Mint Tropical Island and a Near Mint Bayou! On top of that, we got a Good Beta Shivan Dragon as well as a Played Mana Vault and NINETEEN Beta Lightning Bolts! That’s crazy, I need to take pictures of that for sure!

Unlimited got talked about before, but just to let you know: We have a lot of new Unlimited Underground Seas (LP, GD) and other Duals as well as Time Vaults. Yes, Time Vaults, like... SIX of them!

You can find all ABU cards listed on our New Arrivals Collection page!

Arabian Nights, Antiquities, Legends

All the good stuff from the ¾ horsemen is here, so we are not going to beat around the bush for too long. We got four SIGNED Bazaar of Baghdad (PL, GD) from Arabian Nights for you together with two Juzam Djinn (LP, GD) and two Library of Alexandria (PO, PL). All the rest is also here!

Magic Cards from Arabian Nights and Antiquities

From Antiquities, we got one Mishra’s Workshop in Near Mint condition, as well as FIVE Winter Mishra’s Factory. So, if you ever wanted to own a playset of these for your winter themed old school deck, now is your chance!

All of Legends is also here, of course with a Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale (GD) and many other classics such as: Two Chains of Mephistopheles (EX, NM), three Moat (GD – NM) or two The Abyss (GD, EX).

There are 95 new cards from the horsemen in our New Arrivals, check them out through the New Arrivals Collection page!

Dual Lands Forever

We have over 85 new Duals for you, not including the Beta and Unlimited Duals from before. These are mostly from Revised, but there are also a lot from Foreign Black Bordered in mixed languages.

So, let’s start with these! There are 25 FBB Duals, and it’s fair to say each Dual is represented at least once. The Near Mint FBB Dual Lands are an all German. For example: Underground Sea, Volcanic Island, Tundra or Bayou.

Magic dual lands

Almost all of the other Duals are Revised, and we all know the most sought after is Underground Sea. Here we got 6 new ones for you in various conditions. A cool thing that stands out among the Revised Duals this week is a total of 5 Near Mint Scrublands. They are also almost the only Revised Near Mint copies of the week. Someone must have really taken care of those!

Another unusual one: Modern Frame Tropical Island (NM) from the 30th Anniversary Edition! We see these so rarely, we just must mention them.

High-End Reserved List

Alright, alright, you know the drill. This category always got the same cards in it, so here we.. what the... THIRTY Phyrexian Dreadnoughts?! FOUR Gaea’s Cradle? NINE Sliver Queens!!! Now those are some crazy numbers for the normally rather chill Premodern and Legacy category. What a day!

Phyrexian Dreadnough

You can find all High-End Reserved List cards listed on our New Arrivals Collection page!

High-End Foils

Among the foils, we have a lot of fantastic new and shiny stuff, such as the beloved Chocobos! They didn’t make it into the highlights because of that awesome Shivan Dragon, but they are still going to get mentioned here. We have three new Neon Pink/Yellow Traveling Chocobos for you, together with a Spectacular Spider-Man AND a DCI Promo Lightning Bolt!

Rare Magic Foil Cards

There are actually a lot of new foils coming in this week, so let’s mention a few more: There’s a Fractured Foil Llanowar Elves from MTG Foundations together with two OG Unmask (LP, GD) from Mercadian Masques. Other original foils include a Near Mint Daze from Nemesis and Seventh Edition Foils such as Adarkar Wastes (GD) and Oppression (EX)!

And we are not done yet! Among the 69 Foils are also a lot of Serialized cards. We are not going to mention them all here, but two of them are Grimgrin, Corpse-Born (108/500) and Swiftfoot Boots (429/500).

MTG Rarities

Normally we don’t mention the MTG Rarities category that often, because there usually only are one or two cards worth to mention. This time, though, we have a bit more! Among the rarities are two Gaea’s Cradle from the WCD 1999: Matt Linde deck. Then there’s two Poster Sauron, the Dark Lord (NM) from Lord of the Rings Holiday Release AND the Japanese Cloud, Midgar Mercenary (NM) from the MagicCon!

But wait, there’s more! We have a bunch of DCI Promos for you, the coolest being three DCI Promo Lightning Bolts in Near Mint. Then there is also one Human Sol Ring (NM) from Lord of the Rings and an Urza’s Saga Store Championship Promo!

As always, we only mention a fraction of the new cards here in this blog. Head on over to our New Arrivals Collection page to see all the new cards!
