This week, we’re trying something a little different with a Store Spotlight: A curated look at standout cards and collector pieces currently available in the shop. We’ve repriced a large number of high-end cards and sealed products, making this the perfect moment to take another look at some very special Magic history! From Summer Magic and Alpha icons to black-bordered Dual Lands, high-end foils, graded slabs, sealed product, and complete sets.
Highlight #1 - Sealed International Edition Full Set
The biggest centerpiece of this Store Spotlight is the Sealed International Edition Full Set. International Edition has always had a special place among collectors who love early Magic history, and a sealed full set takes that appeal even further. It’s complete, display-worthy, and full of that unmistakable early-90s Magic atmosphere.

Highlight #2 - Limited Edition Alpha Chaos Orb
Limited Edition Alpha brings one of the most iconic old-school cards of all time: Chaos Orb (BGS 8.5). Few cards represent early Magic quite like Chaos Orb, with its legendary gameplay history, unique rules baggage, and unmistakable collector appeal. As a graded Alpha copy, this is one of the true headline pieces of the spotlight.

Highlight #3 - Promo Foils and Headliner
Foil collectors also get several major highlights. Judge Reward Promo Gaea’s Cradle (LP) is the standout name here, joined by DCI Promo Tamiyo, Inquisitive Student // Tamiyo, Seasoned Scholar (NM), and Gold Signature Michelangelo, Improviser (NM). What Other Gems Are Hiding In Our Treasure Trove?
Summer Hurricane
Summer Magic is always special, and Hurricane is one of the classic names from that legendary misprint set. Summer cards have a very different kind of collector gravity: Rare, strange, historically important, and instantly recognizable to people who know early Magic. This is exactly the kind of card that makes a Store Spotlight feel special.
Alpha Dual Lands
Alpha Dual Lands are among the most desirable cards in all of Magic, and this spotlight includes Savannah (GD), Taiga (PL), and Badlands (PO). Even in played condition, Alpha Duals carry the weight of the game’s very first set. They are not just mana-base staples; they are pieces of Magic’s origin story.
Beta Dual Lands
Beta Dual Lands continue the black-bordered theme with a strong spread across several names and conditions. Highlights include Bayou (EX), Savannah (GD/PO), Taiga (PL), Tropical Island (GD/PL), Tundra (NM), and Underground Sea (PL). For collectors who love early black-bordered Magic, we've got some of these prestigious lands for you!
Beta Counterspells
We’re also spotlighting a total of five Beta Counterspells in different conditions. Counterspell is one of the most iconic blue cards ever printed, and Beta copies have exactly the kind of early-set charm that collectors and old-school players appreciate. It’s simple, powerful, and instantly recognizable.
Beta Slabs
Our Beta slab section is packed with clean graded classics. Highlights include Berserk (BGS 9), Ice Storm (BGS 9), Balance (BGS 9), and Sol Ring (BGS 9), with many more graded Beta cards available as well. For collectors who enjoy high-grade pieces from Magic’s second set, this is one of the strongest parts of the spotlight.

Arabian Nights Slabs
Arabian Nights has its own strong slab section, led by Drop of Honey (BGS 9), Erhnam Djinn (BGS 9), Serendib Djinn (BGS 9), and Island of Wak-Wak (BGS 9). Arabian Nights is full of strange effects, iconic early artwork, and cards with a very unique place in Magic history, making these slabs especially appealing for Old School collectors.

Played High-End Foils
We’re also highlighting a group of more played high-end foils, including Rishadan Port, Treachery, Yawgmoth’s Bargain, and Jeweled Lotus. These may not be pristine copies, but that is part of the appeal: Powerful, recognizable cards with character, history, and a more accessible entry point into some very desirable foil versions.

Italian Legends Boosters
Sealed collectors get a nostalgic old-school highlight with Italian Legends Boosters from a full booster break. Legends is one of Magic’s most important early expansions, and sealed boosters from that era always have a special charm. For anyone who loves sealed Magic history, this is a very fun part of the spotlight.

30th Anniversary Full Set
The 30th Anniversary Full Set adds a very different kind of collector piece to the spotlight. Full sets are not about chasing one single card; they are about owning a complete snapshot of a product and a moment in Magic history. For collectors who like complete displays and finished collections, this is definitely worth a closer look.
A Store Spotlight Worth Exploring
This Store Spotlight brings together many different sides of collectible Magic: Summer Magic, Alpha and Beta icons, early black-bordered Dual Lands, high-grade slabs, high-end foils, sealed product and full sets. Every section has its own kind of appeal, and each piece tells a different part of Magic’s long history.
